Aidan Powers—

Aidan served as a Student Board Member for PPA during his sophomore and junior years at Quincy Junior-Senior High School (2020-2022). He was an active member of the high school band and is currently finishing his senior year. 

In addition to band, he is active in football, soccer, S-Club, CSF and has participated in productions at Dramaworks.

Lana Murray—

Lana was a founding student board member, representing Portola Junior-Senior High School in the 2019-2020 school year.

While a student in Plumas County, she was active in drama and band. She was valedictorian of her class and is currently a student at UC San Diego.

Marty Walters —

Marty is a semi-professional violinist, violist, and classical mandolin player who studied at Oberlin College and Conservatory while preparing for a career in environmental science. She’s raised three kids in Plumas County and is deeply committed to making performing arts accessible to kids and adults for lifetime learning and fun. Marty has experience in corporate experience and service on non-profit boards, and she showed her dedication to transparency and good governance for Plumas Performing Arts.

In 2019, Marty co-founded Plumas Performing Arts with Tristan McMichael and served as both the President and the Secretary until 2022.
